Donations will be used to provide mental healthcare grants, to be given to those suffering from suicidal ideation, and uninsured or unable to afford desperately needed treatment. My goal is to eventually start a non-profit organization that provides mental healthcare grants to those unable to access treatment. There was a time that I was determined to take my life and I had no insurance, so I couldn't get help, but I wasn't going to make it without help quickly. So I know the importance. My son, who suffered from bipolar 1, overdosed at age 23 and died this year. He had no insurance, too old for mine but too young to really have the job that provides insurance.

He tried to self-medicate, buying Xanax from a friend. The pill was fentanyl, and we found him on the living room floor in the morning. Mental health treatment is essential to remain alive for so many people. In 2023, in just the United States, over 50,000 people committed suicide. The rate has increased over 3% since 2021. Every victim of suicide has a family effected as well.

10% of borderlines are successful at completing suicide, 1in 10. My Facebook as of 01/24 has 30 k followers who are borderline, and 3,000 of those followers will die at their own hands. Someone's help saved my life, but unfortunately my son wasn't as lucky. I will continue to advocate for mental health as long as I live because it's the only thing that saved my life.

There are people at the end of their rope, right this minute, desperate, contemplating. If you're able to give, so that others can be saved, by providing them the meds and the skills to effectively cope with their lives, then I ask you to please help. It could be the only reason that someone survives, and as a grieving mother, I can promise the family of the individual you help, will also be grateful. Maybe your loved one was lost to suicide, give in their memory, helping someone else survive.

With 75% of people with borderline personality disorder attempting to take their lives, we are losing our people. We know exactly how hard it can be, and how necessary it is for effective intervention.

We have got to stick together, and do anything we are able to do, so that we can save one more. I am humbly asking if you're able to help someone out, please do anything you can. I hope to do this on a larger scale one day. Let's work as a borderline community to heal minds, and wounded hearts. I will give receipts for donations, for your tax records. I thank you for having the heart to give and give someone an opportunity to heal and cope with their trauma.
